High performance coaching for founders and operators

You know exactly
what you should
be doing.
You're not doing it.

That's not a strategy problem. Strategy is the part you already solved. What's actually stopping you is quieter, harder to name, and it doesn't respond to another framework, another tool, or another plan. That's the work.

Who this is for

The founder whose product has been "almost ready" for four months

The build is done. The demo is fine. Every week there's one more thing to fix before anyone sees it.

The owner who knows they have to get out of the day-to-day

You've read the books. You hired the person. And you're still in the field doing the work yourself by Wednesday.

The operator who won't make the ask

The list of people to call exists. It's been sitting there. Sending the message means being seen wanting something.

The high performer whose standards quietly slipped

Nothing collapsed. It eroded. The training stopped, the discipline got negotiable, and you started explaining it to yourself.

What the engagement is

Twelve weeks, because that's how long real behavior change takes and anything shorter sells you insight instead of results.

We work on execution. What you do on an ordinary Tuesday when nobody is watching and nothing is on fire. Not motivation. Not a new operating cadence. The specific reason your actions and your standards have come apart, and the structure that closes it.

I'm building DRIVEN, a daily execution app that runs the system below. Clients in this engagement get founding access when it launches.

The daily system

Every client runs the same six-step loop, every day. It takes about ten minutes. The order matters. Each step only works because of the one before it.

  1. Gratitude

Before you look at what the day demands, you look at what you already have. Not for mood. Because a person operating from scarcity makes worse decisions, and you'll make a few hundred today.

  2. Your why

Read before anything else. Not a mission statement. The reason that still holds at 5am when you'd rather not.

  3. Identity

Who you are, stated in the present tense. Behavior follows identity. Reverse the order and you'll white-knuckle it until you quit.

  4. The non-negotiable

One thing. Not a to-do list. The thing that gets done regardless of how the day goes, because it's the thing that defines whether the day counted.

  5. Three wins

What would have to happen for today to be a win. Named in the morning, not judged in hindsight.

  6. Death journal

The evening close. Stoic in origin: you review the day against the standard you set, and you do it knowing the number of days is finite. This is what you are trading your life for.

Who I am

I'm a mental toughness and high performance coach. I've spent years in session with founders, executives, and operators. People who are already capable and still aren't doing the thing they said they'd do.

I started Carnahan Curbside Recycling while finishing my MBA and ran it for six years, buying out my only local competitor along the way. Then Waste Management entered the market. The math was simple. Survive by becoming a trash company, or stop. I could have done it. I didn't want the life it was building, so I closed it. Afterward I helped build a mobile tire service, part of my family's business, to just under $200K in revenue with two people on payroll.

I built DRIVEN, a daily execution app with an AI coach built into it. I train and film on five hundred acres of tallgrass prairie in the Flint Hills of Kansas, and I run ultramarathons, not as a brand, but because I won't coach a standard I'm not holding myself to.

I didn't learn this standard from a book. My father lived with MS for forty-one years. Every morning, he picked up his mat and walked, even when his legs began to fail him. My parents built a life together where quitting was never an option. That's where this comes from, and it's the standard I'll hold you to.

The first call is forty-five minutes

It's a working session, not a sales call. Bring the thing you've been avoiding and we'll go at it directly. You should leave with something moved whether or not we work together. If we're not a fit, I'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
